the news did bout a minute of coverage at like 7 oclock this morning (i was about to go out to work) it was basically like "congratulations to steve peat on becoming the world champion downhill racer" and then they had some comments about what downhill is... the actual race was about 3:00 this morning maybe

Thanks for the input man. Not too worried about pedal slip, I don't ride without shinpads anyways. Just want to make sure there strong and what not. The gold will go good with my rims though.
